Objectives of the Journal Cell Science

Cellscience is a new on-line scientific Review Journal covering all aspects of cellular science, from molecular aspects of cell function to cellular systems and signaling. The first issue of the Quarterly Review Journal was published in July of 2004. In January 2007 the publication is due to expand to cover all levels of scientific publications (please see Publications in left-hand menu), including correspondence, regular papers, articles, thesis papers and short reports. An on-line format means that data can also be presented in the form of movie and sound clips.

It is intended that this journal should serve the biomedical scientific community, both at a clinical and fundamental level, as a rapid access and low-cost publication for those readers interested in cellular science and medicine.  As such the Journal "Cellscience" intends to utilize advances in internet technology so as to minimize publication costs, and to maximize the rate at which high quality scientific research and articles are reviewed and made accessible to the entire biomedical community.
